Szelegiewicz 1968:
Zachodnia Europa, przez Polskę przebiega prawdopodobnie wschodnia granica zasięgu.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Monofag na szakłaku — Rhamnus cathartica L. Żeruje na młodych pędach i liściach.
