Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Monofag na mniszku lekarskim — Taraxacum officinale Web. Żeruje na szyjce korzeniowej i przyziemnych liściach, zawsze odwiedzany przez mrówki.
