Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony od Algierii i Maroka przez Europę południową aż po południowe części Europy środkowej, znany także z Azji Mniejszej, Kaukazu, Armenii, Zakaukazia, Iranu i Turkiestanu. W Polsce dotychczas nie stwierdzony. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne ogólnikowe dane z Prus są niewiarygodne. Istnieje możliwość znalezienia go w południowo-wschodniej części kraju, gdyż najbliżej położone stanowiska leżą na Podolu i w Słowacji. Warunki ekologiczne słabo poznane, w Austrii znajdowany w zewnętrznej warstwie bardzo starych i przesuszonych krowieńców.
