Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek zasiedlający wschodnią część Palearktyki, Syberię i wschodnią część Europy, najbardziej na zachód wysuniętymi stanowiskami są Budapeszt, okolice Augustowa oraz Warszawy, przy czym te ostatnie nie zostały potwierdzone jeszcze nowszymi znaleziskami, jak to miało miejsce w przypadku Pojezierza Mazurskiego. Wymagania pokarmowe są słabo zbadane, w Puszczy Augustowskiej notowano (Borowiec 1984b) żerowanie chrząszczy na sasance zwyczajnej — Pulsatilla vulgaris Mill.; oznaczenie gatunkowe tej rośliny było chyba błędne, gdyż rośnie ona w Tatrach Zachodnich i w południowo-wschodniej części niżu, a poza tym gatunkiem, na niżu występują trzy inne gatunki.
