Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od krajów śródziemnomorskich przez całą środkową część Europy aż do Wysp Brytyjskich i koła podbiegunowego w Fennoskandii, notowany także z Kaukazu. W Polsce znany tylko z pięciu krain południowych, od około 50 lat nie wykazywany. Znajdowany pod opadłymi, gnijącymi liśćmi na terenach bagnistych, torfowiskach, pobrzeżach rzek i rowów melioracyjnych.
