Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony od koła podbiegunowego przez całą Europę aż do północnej Afryki, na wschód sięgający do Azji Mniejszej i przez Syberię aż do Taiwanu. W Polsce spotykany stosunkowo rzadko i sporadycznie. Znajdowany w odchodach bydlęcych, nawozie i w pryzmach kompostowych.
