Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Gatunek pospolity, wyrządzający niekiedy szkody w ogrodach warzywnych. Motyl pojawia się prawdopodobnie w 2 pokoleniach, od V do VIII. Gąsienice żywią się roślinami zielnymi i trawami. Żerują latem, od VI do IX, na zimę budują oprzędy w ziemi i zamieniają się w poczwarki.
