Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 2000:

Gatunek mało znany, gdyż stosunkowo niedawno opisany. Dotychczas poznane obszary rozsiedlenia obejmują Szwajcarię, Niemcy, Austrię, Czechy, Słowację, Polskę i Ukrainę. Omawiany gatunek jest często mylony z podobnym do niego Batrisodes adnexus (Hampe). Z Polski notowany z jednego stanowiska na podstawie czterech samic ze zbioru muzealnego T. Trelli. Występuje w lasach liściastych i dolinach rzecznych; poławiany w zmurszałym drewnie i pod odstającą korą przy podstawie pni oraz w mrowiskach Lasius Fabr.
