Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony, znany z prawie całej Europy (prócz skrajnej, południowej i północnej części), podawany też z Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej, Syberii i Japonii. Występuje w pobliżu stojących lub wolno płynących wód, unika czystego piasku, spotykany zwłaszcza na wilgotnych, gliniastych glebach.
