Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, poza Polską znany dotychczas tylko z Ukraińskiej SRR. Nizina Mazowiecka jest jedynym znanym obszarem występowania omawianego gatunku w środkowej Europie. Chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany. Wymagania, ekologiczne słabo poznane, na Mazowszu jego kolonie zajmują piaszczyste i muliste brzegi rzek.
