Szelegiewicz 1968:

Szeroko rozmieszczony w całej Palearktyce; notowany także z Ameryki Północnej.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje ze śliw — Prunus domestica L. i Prunus spinosa L. na różne rośliny złożone: Anthemis arvensis L., Matricaria chamomilla L., Matricaria discoidea DC., Tripleurospermum inodorum (L.) Schultz-Bip., Chrysanthemum leucanthemum L., Chrysanthemum parthenium (L.) Bernh., Tanacetum vulgare L., Senecio subalpinus Koch, Senecio jacobaea L., Arctium tomentosum Mill., Carduus crispus L., Carduus acanthoides L., Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop., Onopordon acanthium L. oraz szorstkolistne: Anchusa officinalis L., Echium vulgare L., wyjątkowo zaś na inne rośliny: Caltha palustris L. Notowany jako szkodnik śliw i wektor chorób wirusowych.
