Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek palearktyczny, rozmieszczony prawie w całej Europie, w Fennoskandii docierający do skrajnych prowincji północnych. W południowej części swego areału sporadycznie spotykany w górach. W Polsce występuje od Bałtyku aż po Tatry. Zasiedla zarówno tereny nizinne, jak i górzyste, gdzie dociera do wysokości 2000 m n.p.m. Postacie dojrzałe poławiane są przeważnie od maja do sierpnia, głównie na kwitnących pokrzywach.
