Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu, dotychczas notowany tylko z kserotermicznych terenów w środkowej Europie. W Polsce jest chrząszczem nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykanym, nie łowionym w obecnym stuleciu. Znajdowany wśród mchów i korzeni roślin, głównie na glebach wapiennych.
