Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1985:

Gatunek eurosyberyjski, rozmieszczony w Europie od skrajnych obszarów północnych przez środkową część kontynentu aż do Francji, Szwajcarii, północnych Włoch i Bułgarii, wykazywany poza tym z Kaukazu, przy czym w miarę posuwania się na południe oraz na zachód areału gatunkowego jest spotykany coraz rzadziej. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie jest jeszcze znany ze wszystkich krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie, w Tatrach do wysokości około 1400 m n.p.m. Występuje na terenach bagnistych i torfowiskowych od maja do sierpnia, najczęściej w czerwcu.

Kuśka 1995:

Biologia gatunku nie znana. Występuje głównie na wilgotnych łąkach, młakach i torfowiskach. W innych biotopach rzadki. W górach występuje do 1300 m npm, wyżej łowiony tylko sporadycznie. W polskich zbiorach i publikacjach błędnie podawany jako C. pallida.
Według Delkeskampa (1977) znany z Norwegii, Finlandii, Danii, krajów nadbałtyckich, Karelii i Syberii. Dość pospolity w Europie środkowej, szczególnie na terenach wyżynnych i w niższych górach, w Europie południowo-wschodniej rzadki.
