Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje na turzycach i to zarówno na torfowiskach i miejscach podmokłych, jak i w miejscach suchych, silnie nasłonecznionych. U nas znaleziony na Carex vulpina L., Carex riparia Curt., Carex sempervirens vill., Carex divulsa Stokes, Carex leporina L. oraz na sicie — Juncus effusus L.
