Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Szeroko rozmieszczony gatunek od krajów śródziemnomorskich aż do południowych części północnej Europy, a na wschód przez Syberię sięgający do Japonii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych, rozproszonych stanowisk. Występuje głównie na obszarach nizinnych i w niższych położeniach górskich. Poławiany na terenach zadrzewionych w gnijących grzybach i hubach, przegrzybiałych pniach i pniakach, wśród mchów i przy wyciekającym soku z drzew.
