Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek zasiedlający środkową, południową i południowo-wschodnią część Europy, Azję Mniejszą i Azję Środkową. Przez Polskę przebiega północna granica jego zasięgu. Zarówno w środkowej Europie, jak i w Polsce chrząszcz bardzo rzadko spotykany, notowany u nas z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w czterech krainach. Występuje przeważnie na nasłonecznionych miejscach. Spotykany na różnych gatunkach chabrów — Centaurea L.
