Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Francji i Włoch przez środkową część Europy po Kaukaz i Turkmenię. W Polsce ryjkowiec ten jest rzadko spotykany — notowano go z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w siedmiu krainach, przy tym zeszłowieczne doniesienia o jego występowaniu na Mazurach, Mazowszu i w Sudetach Zachodnich winny być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Zamieszkuje pobrzeża wód, wilgotne łąki, żwirowiska, przydroża i lasy bukowe. Jako rośliny żywicielskie tego ryjkowca podawano w piśmiennictwie rzepichę błotną — Rorippa palustris (Leyss.) Bess., gorczycznika pospolitego — Barbarea vulgaris R. Br. i żywca dziesięciolistnego — Dentaria enneaphyllos L.
