Kawecki 1985:
Gatunek znany z Europy, różnych rejonów Azji i Bliskiego Wschodu. Polifag, żerujący na liściastych krzewinkach, krzewach i drzewach.
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w całej Polsce, podawany przez wszystkich autorów zajmujących się czerwcami; niewątpliwie występuje we wszystkich krainach zoogeograficznych Polski od Pobrzeża Bałtyku do Tatr.
