Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990a:
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozsiedleniu, znany dotychczas z nielicznych stanowisk w południowo-wschodniej Francji. W Polsce ani w krajach sąsiednich nie stwierdzony. Kilkakrotnie wykazywany ogólnikowo ze Śląska na podstawie jedynej wzmianki sprzed przeszło stu lat o znalezieniu okazów tego gatunku na składowisku drzewa. Możliwe, że K. Letzner (1876) podał tę pierwszą wiadomość na podstawie chrząszczy zawleczonych z drewnem lub błędnie oznaczonych. Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest nam znana.
