Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w południowej i środkowej części Europy; notowany również z Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii i Karelii. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i w niższych położeniach górskich. Poławiany od czerwca do września, zwykle na nasłonecznionych skrajach lasów, ugorach i nasłonecznionych zboczach. Jako rośliny żywicielskie podawane są różne gatunki z rodziny wargowych (Labiatae), jak na przykład macierzanka piaskowa — Thymus serpyllum L., mięta długolistna — Mentha longifolia (L.) Huds. i gojnik drobnokwiatowy — Sideritis montana L.
