Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem Podobszar Śródziemnomorski, Azję Mniejszą i kraje wokół Morza Kaspijskiego; granica północna rozsiedlenia przebiega przez środkową Francję, północne przedgórza Alp, dolinę Dunaju, Mołdawię, Podole po północny Kazachstan. W Polsce nie stwierdzony w sposób pewny. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne, wzmianki sprzed kilkudziesięciu lat (Fejfer 1924) o występowaniu tego gatunku na dwu stanowiskach wydają się niewiarygodne, a według M. Węgrzeckiego (1924) w zbiorze F. Fejfera brak okazów dowodowych.

Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem Podobszar Śródziemnomorski, Azję Mniejszą i kraje wokół Morza Kaspijskiego; na północ dociera do środkowej Francji, Niemiec, Austrii i Słowacji. Z Polski notowany przed około 70 laty z Wyżyny Lubelskiej i Roztocza, ale z braku okazów dowodowych nie zaliczony do fauny Polski. Z uwagi na wątpliwości czy Crosita salviae (Germ.) występuje po polskiej stronie Karkonoszy, obecnie do czasu uzyskania konkretnych danych nie włączamy go do chrząszczy krajowych.
