Taxon description
Kawecki 1985:
Gatunek szklarniowy. Występuje w szklarniach i roślinach hodowanych w mieszkaniach; bardzo pospolity. Występuje we wszystkich strefach klimatu ciepłego, w klimacie umiarkowanym w pomieszczeniach ogrzewanych. Polifag (obszerna lista roślin żywicielskich zestawiona przez Borchseniusa 1957). Czyżewski (1975) zalicza go do najbardziej szkodliwych gatunków na roślinach ozdobnych.
