Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, gdyż często mylony z pokrewnymi gatunkami. Znany głównie ze środkowej Europy, notowany również z Wysp Brytyjskich i Danii. Z Polski wykazany z nielicznych stanowisk na podstawie znalezisk z ubiegłego stulecia, nie łowiony powtórnie w obecnym wieku. Według W. Szymczakowskiego (1969, 1969b) omyłkowo wykazany z okolic Przemyśla (Trella 1924, Tenenbaum 1933), okazy dowodowe należą bądź do Colon (Myloechus) barnevillei Kr., bądź do Colon (Myloechus) bnmneum (Latr.), poza tym dawne dane ze Śląska oraz byłych Prus wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Łowiony najczęściej z Colon (Myloechus) dentipes (Sahlb.) od połowy sierpnia do połowy października.
