Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986b:

Gatunek rozsiedlony w całej Europie, w Fennoskandii docierający do skrajnych prowincji północnych, notowany też z Syberii i Ameryki Północnej. W Europie środkowej należy do wielkich rzadkości. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Znajdowany w lasach na pleśniejącym drewnie, pod odstającą korą i opadłym listowiem, w suchych wiązkach chrustu świerkowego, na suchych gałęziach świerków, w detrytusie; spotykany również w wilgotnych mieszkaniach na pleśniejących produktach i ścianach, a w zabudowaniach gospodarczych wśród gnijącego siana i słomy.
