Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony w środkowej i północnej Europie, notowany również z Syberii, w Fennoskandii docierający do krańców północnych, a w Alpach do około 2400 m n.p.m. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju. Spotykany przeważnie wiosną i jesienią na pobrzeżach lasu, polanach oraz na halach w górach — pod gnijącymi resztkami roślinnymi jak siano, słoma, liście, grzyby, nadto w ekskrementach i na wyciekającym soku z drzew, zwłaszcza buka, brzozy i dębu.
