Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Górski gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w zachodniej i środkowej Europie, wykazywany również z Włoch. W Alpach w strefie subalpejskiej i alpejskiej. Przynależność do fauny krajowej wymaga potwierdzenia. Wykazany z Karkonoszy przez Schwarza przed przeszło 100 laty. Następni autorzy wzmiankę Schwarza bezkrytycznie powtarzali, jedynie Horion (1941) wątpi o występowaniu w Karkonoszach i na Śląsku. Wzmianka Galewskiego (1971) o występowaniu w Beskidzie Zachodnim opierała się na wiadomości podanej przez Pietscha (1904b), odnoszącej się do stanowiska w Czechosłowacji. Żyje w czystych strumieniach i potokach górskich.
