Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem środkową i wschodnią część Europy oraz europejską, południową część byłego Zssr wraz z Krymem i Kaukazem, notowany również z Danii i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii. W Polsce chrząszcz mało znany, dotychczas ogólnikowo wykazywany z Pomorza i ze Śląska, niedawno odkryty w Wielkopolskim Parku Narodowym. Żeruje w korze na gałęziach i drobnych gałązkach lip, rzadziej brzostów. Chodniki macierzyste dwu- lub trzyramienne, poprzeczne o długości 1,5-4,5 mm.
