Taxon description
Kawecki 1985:
Wielka Brytania, Francja, Czechosłowacja, Związek Radziecki, Węgry, Austria, Jugosławia, Hebrydy, Irak. Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Europie, jak się zdaje nie występuje w krajach północnych. W Polsce żywicielami są: dęby, brzozy, olchy, iwa, topola, osika; w innych krajach notowany także na orzechu włoskim i tarninie.
