Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Gatunek rzadki, występuje lokalnie w okolicach podmokłych i wilgotnych. Motyl pojawia się w VII i VIII na brzegach lasów, polanach leśnych i w ogrodach. Gąsienice żerują od V do VII na liściach dzikiej czarnej porzeczki. Są one zupełnie podobne do gąsienic L. mellinata, różnią się od nich dwiema wyraźnymi białawymi liniami, szeroko rozstawionymi, idącymi wzdłuż grzbietowej strony ciała. Na ilustracji pokazana została gąsienica przed przepoczwarczeniem. Gatunek zimuje w stadium jaja.
