Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1979:

Gatunek borealno-górski, rozprzestrzeniony w północnej części Holarktyki, w Europie znany z całej Fennoskandii, Wysp Brytyjskich oraz z obszarów górskich i pogórzy w środkowej Europie, na południe sięgający do północnych Włoch, Bośni i Hercegowiny oraz Siedmiogrodu. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w południowej części kraju. Występuje na ogół lokalnie i dość rzadko na pobrzeżach potoków i rzek, wśród żwiru, pod kamieniami i napływkami, najczęściej w obrębie oprysku wody.
