Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek o zasięgu ograniczonym do południowej części środkowej Europy. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne oraz brak okazów dowodowych w zbiorach, wzmianki o występowaniu w Polsce należy uznać za niewiarygodne. O zasiedleniu Niziny Wielkopolsko-Kujawskiej wątpi A. Horion (1955). Wzmianki o występowaniu tego gatunku na Śląsku należy odnieść do stanowisk leżących na Morawach. Wiadomość, opublikowana przez L. Hildta jakoby M. Nowicki (1873) podał omawiany gatunek z Karpat, jest błędna, gdyż autor ten w swej pracy wykazał ogólnikowo jedynie Georyssus pygmaeus Fabr. (= G. crenulatus ROSSI) tylko z byłej Galicji Zachodniej.
