Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek europejski, rozpowszechniony w całej prawie Europie (z wyjątkiem najbardziej na południe wysuniętych części), w Fennoskandii sięga daleko poza koło podbiegunowe. W Polsce występuje na terenach nizinnych i podgórskich, głównie w drobnych, stojących zbiornikach wodnych, niekiedy również w płytkich kałużach z trawiastą roślinnością.
