Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Znacznie rzadszy od poprzedniego przedstawiciela rodzaju (Hadena rivularis), lata od V do VII w jednym pokoleniu. Gąsienice, prowadzące identyczny tryb życia, jak gatunek poprzedni (H. rivularis) i żerujące na tych samych roślinach żywicielskich, spotkać można pojedynczo, rzadziej po dwie lub trzy na jednej roślinie w VII i VIII. Poczwarki zimują w ziemi.
