Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie i na Syberii.
Gatunek anholocykliczny. Żyje na spodniej stronie liści brzóz — Betula verrucosa Ehrh., Betula pubescens Ehrh., w czerwono zabarwionych wybrzuszeniach. Zimuje larwa typu hiemalis.
