Gatunek wykazywany ze wschodniej i środkowej części Europy, notowany również z Półwyspu Bałkańskiego, Azji Mniejszej i Kaukazu. Brak okazów dowodowych w zbiorach podważa wiarogodność licznych dawnych wzmianek o występowaniu w naszym kraju. Wzmianki te wymagają potwierdzenia nowszymi doniesieniami i materiałem dowodowym. Występowanie w południowej części naszego kraju możliwe, gdyż znany jest ze Słowacji i Moraw.
