Taxon description
Gatunek europejsko-syberyjski szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Europie docierający do krańców północnych i południowych, notowany ponadto z Kaukazu. W Polsce dość pospolity, ale rzadko wykazywany zarówno z nizinnych, jak i wyżynnych obszarów. Znajdowany przeważnie pod padliną i gnijącymi resztkami roślinnymi, rzadziej na wypływającym soku z drzew, w odchodach bydlęcych, nawozie i grzybach.
