Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Gatunek dość pospolity, pojawia się w dwu pokoleniach: motyl lata od V do VII oraz od VII do IX. Gąsienice karmią się wieloma roślinami zielnymi. Żerują jesienią, zimę spędzając w oprzędach, w których przepoczwarczają się na wiosnę. Letnie pokolenie gąsienic żyje w VI i VII.
