Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Rzadko spotykany gatunek o niejasnym zasięgu, znany głównie z północnej Europy, nie sięgający jednak zbyt daleko na północ, wykazywany nadto z nielicznych stanowisk w środkowej i wschodniej Europie. Występuje głównie w rejonie górskim i na pogórzach, gdzie spotykany przeważnie w kwaśnych wodach torfowiskowych, zarówno stojących jak i wolno płynących, na terenach otwartych i lesistych.
