Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek znany głównie z krajów środkowej Europy; notowany również z nielicznych stanowisk z Belgii, Francji, Szwajcarii, Włoch, Rumunii, Podola i Kaukazu. W Polsce znany tylko z czterech krain, przy czym większość danych o rozmieszczeniu opiera się na znaleziskach w ubiegłym stuleciu. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i pagórkowate. Występuje przeważnie w zmurszałym drewnie płotów i słupów ogrodzeniowych, znajdowany również w drewnie drzew liściastych uszkodzonych uprzednio przez larwy kózek i korników.
