Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986b:
[KFP 3644: Enicmus kolbei] Rozsiedlenie ogólne oraz wymagania ekologiczne nie są dokładnie zbadane z powodu utrzymujących się długi czas niejasności systematycznych. Gatunek opisany z Sudetów, notowany później jeszcze ze Szwajcarii, gdzie znaleziony był w zapleśniałym sianie. Rozsiedlenie omawianego gatunku w Polsce wymaga dalszych badań, gdyż mimo że od opisu gatunku upłynęło przeszło 50 lat, znany on jest u nas tylko z dwu stanowisk w Sudetach Wschodnich.
Burakowski et al. 2000:
[KFP 5921 (3634b): Enicmus nidicola] Gatunek opisany z Norwegii i Szwecji, wykazany z Finlandii, Danii, krajów Beneluksu, Niemiec i Austrii. Na ogół mało znany, gdyż nie odróżniany od pospolitego Latridius minutus L. W Polsce notowany na podstawie trzech okazów wysianych z resztek siana pod karmnikiem dla zwierzyny płowej. Występuje na terenach leśnych, ale również w parkach, ogrodach i w sąsiedztwie osiedli mieszkaniowych. W Niemczech poławiany w gniazdach większych ptaków, w murszu dziupli drzew oraz w słomie.
