Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w południowej i środkowej części Europy, sięgający na północ po Wyspy Brytyjskie, Danię i południową Szwecję; wykazywany poza tym z Syberii i Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce, choć nie jest jeszcze notowany z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, przy czym z południowej części kraju jest częściej wykazywany. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i górzyste do wysokości około 2 000 m n.p.m. Występuje na wierzbie szarej — Salix cinerea L., wierzbie trójpręcikowej — S. triandra L., wierzbie wiciowej — S. viminalis L., olszy czarnej — Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn., olszy szarej — A. incana (L.) Mnch. i jeżynie popielicy — Rubus caesius L.
