Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1993:
Szeroko rozprzestrzeniony gatunek od Francji, środkowej i wschodniej części Europy aż po Mongolię, północne Chiny, Syberię (do wybrzeży Pacyfiku) i Wyspy Kurylskie. W Polsce należy do rzadkości. W okolicy Przemyśla łowiony w siedliskach ruderalnych, głównie na obrzeżach muraw kserotermicznych (M. Mazur*). Zasiedla słoneczne zbocza, pobrzeża lasów i zarośli, zręby, rowy, przydroża, przychacia i nieużytki Postacie dojrzałe spotykano od maja do lipca. Bionomia i przebieg rozwoju nie są znane; imagines były wyhodowywane z bylicy polnej — Artemisia campestris L.; w Alzacji spotykano je na wrotyczu pospolitym — Tanacetum vulgare L.
