Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w północnej części Palearktyki, na wschód sięgający do Syberii. W Polsce występuje prawie na całym obszarze, w górach dociera do strefy alpejskiej. Znajdowany pod butwiejącą słomą, sianem, listowiem, gnijącymi grzybami, wysychającymi ekskrementami krowimi i końskimi, na padlinie.
