Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie, z wyjątkiem jej części północnej.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje fakultatywnie z klonu polnego — Acer campestre L. na korzenie wiązu polnego — Ulmus campestris L. Na klonie powoduje zbijanie się liści wierzchołkowych w luźne gniazda i jest odwiedzany przez mrówki. Na korzeniach wiązu prawdopodobnie także anholocyklicznie.
