Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek występujący w południowej, zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, na północ docierający do Danii i południowych prowincji Szwecji, notowany także z Afryki Północnej i Kaukazu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk w trzech krainach. Bionomia i cykl rozwojowy nie są poznane. M. Tomalak (1977) łowił tego chrząszcza na wilczomleczach — Euphorbia L.
