Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w prawie całej Europie (nie znany dotychczas z Finlandii i północnej części Skandynawii). W Polsce dość rzadko spotykany, notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk niżowych i górskich. Zamieszkuje tereny lesiste, znajdowany wśród butwiejących liści i innych szczątków roślinnych, rzadziej spotykany w norach smaków i w gniazdach ptaków.
