Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej, południowej i środkowej Europie, notowany również z Balearów. Wschodnia granica zasięgu przebiega przez Polskę, gdzie niedawno gatunek został odkryty na kilku stanowiskach nizinnych. Wzmiankę Galewskiego (1971) o występowaniu w okolicy Łodzi należy odnieść do miejscowości leżących w pow. Łowicz. Żyje w stałych zbiornikach wodnych o dnie piaszczystym, żwirowatym lub gliniastym, nie zarośniętym lub tylko słabo.
