Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986a:

Gatunek palearktyczny, szeroko rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich, Francji i północnych Włoch przez europejską część ZSRR i Syberię aż do Kraju Nadmorskiego; notowany ponadto z Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych i rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie. Występuje na wyschniętej padlinie i kościach.
