Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w środkowej i północnej części Europy, notowany również z Syberii. W Polsce oprócz wyższych partii górskich występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, nie znany jest jednak jeszcze ze wszystkich krain, a z większości notowany z pojedynczych tylko stanowisk. Zasiedla gniazda mrówek różnych gatunków z rodzaju Formica L., zwłaszcza mrowiska F. rufa L.
